I can’t believe this blog is three years old already. To celebrate, we had some carrot cake. Any excuse for cake right?! Happy Birthday Everyday Riding!
My first post was back in August 2009. I had some fun reading the older stuff. I think my style and skill has come a long way since that first Thursday night post.
A big thanks to all of you for your support along the way! It’s has been much more fun than I imagined. Here’s to another three years!
PS: yes, it was actually last week; I am terrible at remembering this stuff. I totally skipped years #1 and #2. lol. It has been added to the google calendar.
Woohoo, congrats on three years.
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks so yummy. Love the birthday hat too.
Thanks! The hat was handmade by my awesome wife. She did a great job. :)
DeleteTime does fly when your having fun. Back in April I stopped writing another blog I worked on for over 3 years. Not because I wanted to, but because I felt I had nothing left to contribute to the discussion. Lets hope for another 3 years of your excellent blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robert!
DeleteChris:
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you. How time flies when you are having fun. It's sort of like having a part-time job and look at all the others that you get to meet all over the country.

It certainly consumes the time of a part-time job for sure!
DeleteCongratulations on three years with the blog. Of course this prompted me to read the first few months of posts.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the carrot cake my first thought was what to replace the cream cheese with in the frosting...
Thanks. Ah yes, the beginning where I mostly posted about commuting and published tiny poorly light photos. lol.
DeleteCarrot cake is posted at the food blog now. I they used some sort of vegan cream cheese. unclear if it was soy based or not.
Happy Birthday, dear blog. The cake is well earned. And now that you are mentioning it... my blog had its 3rd birthday back in July (and I didn't even notice, bad me!).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 3rd! you not noticing makes me feel better. hehe.
DeleteHappy Blog Birthday. I've sure enjoyed the time I've spent here. Hope the adventures keep coming.
