Last night was the last Tuesday in July which meant Last Tuesdays Sportbike Night! Facebook was a buzz with postings for the event and with the weather cooperating, it was set to be a fun night. In all, I think about 200 bikes showed up. Nearly all of them sportbikes; there were a few cruisers and some vintage bikes as well. Authority Stunts put on a great show with two of their riders! A fun time indeed.
The event was hosted by ZeroGravity and The Dog House Bar & Grill.
One of the lone cruisers in a sea of sportbikes
It was well attended.
Nice looking Ducati
I like his choice of radiator overflow vessel.
The headlight rings on this bike changed color every second. a neat trick.
Custom surfboard mount on a vintage Honda. This is Ryan, he welded it himself with a clever mounting system using that can be removed in just a few minutes. He said he also hauls his mountain bike with it. Where to surf in MN? Lake Superior of course.
Sportbikes!
This guys’s mohawk reminded me of my friend NT8 in Omaha, but his is blue.
A lone Husky.
Stunt bike ready to go with the wall of sportbikes looking on.
Crowd ready for a stunt show
The first stunt bike
The second stunt bike
It begins with a smoky burnout.
No hands, slow, tight turns
I like this shot a lot. Watching the stunt show behind the wall of bikes.
Stoppies
Wheelies
Headstands
More stoppies
More wheelies
On the tank
Nice
Riding the wheelie with no hands
Donuts
1 handed donuts!
Jumping off the tank onto the seat
More donuts!
And some more smoking tires to finish it off.
It was a good show. Nice job Authority Stunts! I shot video and will post that later.
Wow, so many bikes and so much action.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun.
A lot for a group like this, but so many more are at first Thursdays. It was fun. I will go again.
DeleteIt does look well attended. I might be able to carry my tanpoura on a mount like that guy has for his surf board...or, at least my long board :)
ReplyDeleteNice photos.

Time for you to start taking welding classes! Glad you liked the photos.
DeleteChris:
ReplyDeleteOur bike nights seem more intimate, not so many bikes but it is always nice to meet others from our BCsportbikes.com forum and get their real names. We also had BCstunters.com give stunting demos but not since last year as our current location is not large enough for them.
It's nice to see the vintage bikes

Surprising there aren't more sport bikers near you with all the nice scenery to ride in.
