MotoGP–Indianapolis!

In 10 days and a few hours, I will be watching the world’s fastest riders race around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Indianapolis Grand Prix (MotoGP)! I have only watched them on TV, so as you can imagine, I am extremely excited to see the action live. What is it like to have more than a dozen bikes fly by at 200+MPH? I’ll let you know!

Thanks to a very generous @Todkapuz, I am looking at tickets for the whole weekend. It includes free practice on Friday, Qualifying on Saturday, the races on Sunday, and a lap around the circuit on my own bike! I have been looking forward to this all year!! I just have to show up, and enjoy. THANK YOU!

Unfortunately, my wife can’t make it. Her boss isn’t quite as nice as mine, and she doesn’t earn vacation at the same rate I do. After my last trip, I’ve just barely managed to earn enough to take this trip. I’m 99.9% sure I will be taking my trusty SV650.

If you’re going to the races, send me a note. Maybe we can meet up. It’s going to be a fun-filled weekend of motorcycles and hanging out with a friend!

    enjoy, but be prepared for lots of walking...my wife and I just returned from the MotoGP event at Laguna Seca for the second year.. had a blast...

    Bummer the wife can't go with you but I am sure you will have a ton of fun. Take lots of pictures.

      yup, thanks to the blog I've met some really nice folks. I'll take some video, but watch the BBC they have the best coverage.
