Amazingly, the temperature was in the high 60s (F) today. The warm air and clear skies made for a great commuting day. I HAD to take the long way home past a half dozen different lakes. I managed to work in every twisty road I could find. It was nice.
I can hardly believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Have a great holiday weekend!
10 down and 9,990 to go...
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
happy thanksgiving to you as well!
DeleteSorry, six down an 9,994 to go. Don't want to cheat MN out of any lakes...
ReplyDeletelol. wikipedia says we have: 11,842 lakes. :D
DeleteChris:
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too. Unfortunately we had ours last month, so we work the next two days. So if you are riding, think of us poor souls working . . .

thanks!
DeleteYou got warmer than we did. Tomorrow is supposed to be our nice day. And, of course, it is all inside stuff to do, but good stuff. Have a great Holiday!

surprisingly yes, but you had some cool fog to play with. yes, today is mostly inside stuff, but i hope to get a walk between feasting
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving Chris, we're having insanely warm weather here as well....no snow, dammit.

Thanks Dom. I'm not complaining. More time with my SV makes me a happy camper. There will be plenty of time for snow shortly i am sure. besides, you can ride to elevation and get snow. :)
DeleteI'd love late November in the UK to be anywhere near 60F! ;)
ReplyDeleteI would love it if MN still looked like my picture! lol. Nature decided to spite me with some snow and 20F temps which are normal.
DeleteWow, you were having a heat wave. We woke to 39 this morning, brrrr. But maybe we'll see some sunshine and go for a ride.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day today and enjoy your long weekend.
a brief heatwave yes, it was glorious.
Deleteenjoy your weekend as well.
Lucky you. Here, it is miserably grey and the wet stuff is falling from the sky with monotonous regularity. I would love to go out and ride. I need some medicine to get rid of this cabin fever. Never mind, spring is on its way for both of us.
ReplyDeleteit was brief Gary. things have returned to normal as I'm looking at almost two inches of snow and 20s(F). can't wait for spring to return - warm weather and some MotoGP :)
