Last week was motorcycle first thursday in Minneapolis. In October, there were only six bikes because it had rained earlier. November had over twenty bikes. A far cry from the thousand plus in the summer, but a decent number considering it was only in the mid forties.
As usual, I had a nice time catching up with my moto friends inside. We talked about motorcycles and travel, you know, all the important stuff. The ride home was chilly, but my heated gear kept me warm and toasty.
Is November the last month you guys hold this event?
ReplyDeleteIt is a year round event, but not everyone rides year round.
DeleteSoon it may be time to dig out the Ural. I heard that you now have 4 wheels again.
ReplyDeleteUral time for sure. It snowed six inches yesterday. I do have a car now because i am not fit enough to ride the ural yet. Sidecar takes too much upper body that I don't have right now.
DeleteSounds serious, what happened?
DeleteI think 20 bikes is pretty good considering it is November. At least you got out for a wee ride. Was this pre-incident or post?
ReplyDeleteThis was post incident. I can mostly ride the sv without pain. Healing faster by not riding.
